Selected in Guatemala as a superior variety and brought back to South Florida by Dr. Richard Campbell. This cultivar is unique, its seed is not fused to the flesh like common M.americana. I have this in my collection and I can say it is a delicious easy to eat fruit reminiscent of sun-dried apricot
